The following quote in the parish register of Hedensted from 1671 is believed to be the christening data for Mette Rasmusdatter in Hedensted: "On July 2, 1671 Michel Quist' s brother-in-law, Rasmus Saumand[2] [had his daughter christened] Mette."
Mads Jorgensen and Mette Rasmusdatter were married in the church of Hedensted on March 15, 1696. We only know of one of their children, Anne Madsdatter. Mette Rasmusdatter died in 1719 and was buried in the churchyard of Store Dalby on May 21, 1719, and on September 19, 1723 Mads Jorgensen was buried in the churchyard of Store Dalby.
