The baptism of Kirsten Mogensdatter is not yet found in the parish record of Glud, but Anne Mogensdatter was baptized in the church of Glud in 1709 and Mette Mogensdatter was baptized in 1712. They were daughters of Mogens Pedersen and Maren Lauridsdatter, and their son Soren Mogensen was baptized in Glud in 1724.

Mogens Pedersen was married to Maren Lauridsdatter in the church of Glud in 1705. However, they had an illegitimate son Soren in 1704 – he died when he was a small child. Their daughter Maren was baptized in 1706, Anne in 1709 and Mette in 1712. We do not find anything about the baptisms of Karen and Kirsten Mogensdatter in the church record, but one reason may be that the vicar has forgotten to make a note in the church record. Or he has made a slip of the pen and has written Maren instead of Karen, when a daughter of Mogens Pedersen was baptized in 1706. If Karen Mogensdatter was born in 1706 she might have been 23 years old, when she got her first illegitimate child in Klakring in 1729.

According to information in the church record the family probably had a close relationship to the Fynbo family in Sonderby in the parish of Glud, and the Fynbo family in Nebel in the parish of Raarup (Hans Rasmussen Fynbo and his brother Peder Rasmussen Fynbo). The relationship is  not yet cleared. And we do not know either if the woman called Karen Fynbo who died in 1733 in Klakring, was a relative.

Indholdsfortegnelse

Mogens Pedersens hustru Maren Lauridsdatter døde i 1735.
